Tenses...

કાળ (Tense) એટલે સમય, અને સમય ને ત્રણ ભાગ માં વહેચી શકાય. 1. વીતી ગયેલો સમય એટલે કે ભૂતકાળ (Past Tense), 2. ચાલી રહેલો સમય એટલે કે વર્તમાનકાળ (Present Tense), અને 3. આવનારો સમય એટલે કે ભવિષ્યકાળ (Future Tense), પણ અંગ્રેજી ભાષા માં કાળ ને સરળતાથી સમજવા દરેક કાળ ને ચાર ભાગ માં વહેચી દીધો છે. સાદો (Simple): રોજ બરોજ ની ક્રિયાઓ માટે વપરાય છે. ચાલુ (Continuous): ચાલુ ક્રિયા દર્શાવવ માટે વપરાય છે. પૂર્ણ (Perfect): પૂર્ણ ક્રિયા દર્શાવવા માટે વપરાય છે. પૂર્ણ ચાલુ (Perfect Continuous): ક્રિયા નો અમુક ભાગ પુરો થઇ ગયો હોય પણ હજુ પણ ક્રિયા ચાલુ છે એ દર્શાવવ માટે વપરાય છે. ************'*************************** *સાદો વર્તમાનકાળ – Simple Present Tense* હું ક્રિકેટ રમુ છું. – I play Cricket. હું ક્રિકેટ નથી રમતો. – I do not (don’t) play Cricket. શું હું ક્રિકેટ રમું છું? – Do I play Cricket? શું હું ક્રિકેટ નથી રમતો? – Do I not play Cricket?                                       ...
